Trancending limitations through absorbtion in Peace affects the conditions layers within us as they begin to disolve the peace deepens.

The Hydra is an awakening symbol and the snakes are part of the creative force. Here the fluidly of the formless is encompassed within the form, as it expands out of chaos it comes into order.

Within the luminosity of gold there is the aspiration towards something which is inexpressible.

One of the concepts that I have been working with for the last 30 years is the peace that passeth all understanding. This particular Mandala is an attempt to focus on and explore that notion, that understanding.

Traditionally gold is associated with evolutionary states; whether that’s a saint or a bodhisattva, whether it’s in the Christian tradition or the Buddhist tradition, Hinduism or even certain of the sages within the Sufi tradition. That gold emanation or orb is something that here is used at a deep and cellular level to describe the potential through peace of coming to the wisdom that lies within.

The evolution of a cell is a point of transcendence. Every cell has all the messages of all of the other cells in relation to the human organism. As we penetrate the cell it’s like information being disseminated to all the other cells. This Mandala is really an attempt to focus on this particular phenomenon.

The blue sphere is part of the meditation that Mike has worked with since 1973. Here within the dynamic blue sphere is a reflection of elements in the process of change that are emerging as the gold that lies within.

Through the spiral of evolution comes a sense that as we come closer to accepting ourselves. The pink is a reflection of an unfolding receptivity. It is also a recognition of the compassion and caring that comes in from above.
